What was the process of how to make the film, and from his point of view, what message was sent to the players and I mean that so-called “addicts” need to stop:
JHS: What inspired you to create the script? Do you think the result will be something that could speak for all WoW players? ”
2 things. First, the feeling that no one had ever done before. I think it’s really unusual for a concept that is kind of unique and effectively. When I first saw Memento I was so blown away that after a long period of cinema, but someone could come up with something so inventive. Secondly, I wanted to have a stand for video games. I’ve been playing games since I was a kid and I struggled for years with people who thought that online games are action games without a brain and made you violent. I thought this was a chance some insight into what the game can really cover the show – the passion, camaraderie and experiences that can not be achieved in real life.
JHS: Why do you think people want to put down the way of life “player”?
I believe that just do not know better. JHS: You said you basically had no budget, because you could make some money from the movie, what kind of restrictions on you like a real director?
Because I knew that there would be a budget from the beginning, I could concentrate on writing a script that would handle not many people like places. We had five days of shooting for a film of 25 minutes with a very small crew. And why did not I would run the actors a lot, there was little time for the camera and lighting units. Also, could not afford to buy a lot of props, so we need to work with everything in our homes. The room of the main character is actually made by people geek ten things together.

I think if you choose to work with this restriction, it will easily lead to creative new ways to tell your story. It ‘really hard to give a general answer to that, because it depends on the situation. Normally I would recommend people to try and get to know very well what it means to make the game for you. When I was in college, I used to talk to my parents about the games I could not wait to play and what I found funny about them. I was usually able to meet them connected in some way.
JHS: The lack of success of some great films, seams very difficult for the concept of a video game to take in a movie – with many films making an effort to “enter” the life which he played. What are your experiences in this regard?
I think there are two types of game film … Corrections and sci-fi. The regulations are almost always terrible action movies or just solid with the name of the game in the title … And if so, there is almost no film on the real players – to be honest I can not name a few. And I’m a bit ‘surprised at this!
But it is hard, and I think that people need to know if the full video movie games …. My point is that video games as a way to really learn, the filmmakers have to understand how a game tells its story, which can be translated and what things you can not.
JHS: What WOW so that almost no other game on earth does it offer?
In all honesty – there are some games on earth, I’ve never played! However, I think WoW has done and is doing an incredible job in making available the game hardcore for many people.
